At Amit Sports, we are committed to providing quality sporting goods and honest service. We understand that occasionally a product may not meet your expectations, or an item may arrive with a manufacturing defect. This policy sets out clearly what you are entitled to, under what conditions, and how to proceed.
This policy applies to all purchases made in-store at our Gumti No. 5, Kanpur location. All return and exchange requests must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt. We do not entertain requests without proof of purchase.
If you have a concern that is not addressed in this policy, please contact us directly at +91 99847 72244 or visit the store Tuesday through Sunday between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM. We will work with you in good faith to reach a fair resolution.
We accept returns on eligible products within 7 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions below. Returns outside this window will not be accepted except in cases of manufacturing defects (see Section 05).
Upon a successful return, the customer will receive a store credit note valid for 90 days. Cash refunds are issued only in cases of manufacturing defects where an exchange is not possible. We do not issue refunds for change-of-mind purchases of items that have been used or removed from packaging.

Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of the purchase date for size, colour, or model differences, provided the item is in unused condition and original packaging.
To exchange an item, bring it to the store with your original receipt. Our staff will assess the condition and, if eligible, assist you in selecting an alternative. If the replacement item is of higher value, you will be charged the difference. If lower, a store credit will be issued for the balance.
The following categories are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances, except in cases of proven manufacturing defect:
We take product quality seriously. If you believe a product you purchased has a manufacturing defect — meaning a fault that was present at the time of purchase and not caused by use, misuse, or accidental damage — we will address it promptly.
Please note: damage caused by incorrect use, accidental impact, improper storage, or normal wear and tear is not covered under this policy. We will assess each claim fairly and transparently, and we will always explain our finding.
To report a defect, bring the item to the store with your original receipt and describe the issue to our staff. We may need to inspect the item before confirming whether a defect is present.
All in-store services carried out by Amit Sports — including racket restringing, grip wrapping, and equipment repair — carry a 7-day satisfaction guarantee.
If you are dissatisfied with the result of a service within 7 days, bring your item back to the store and we will rectify the issue at no additional charge. This covers:

The service warranty does not cover damage caused after collection — for example, a string broken by a mishit, or a grip damaged by sweat or improper storage.
The process is straightforward. We ask that all requests be raised in person at the store wherever possible, as we need to inspect the item before making a decision.

We aim to resolve all concerns at the first point of contact. In the rare case that a resolution cannot be agreed upon in store, we will escalate to a senior member of the team for a final, fair decision.
